Tasting Notes: Full body. Floral notes and black fruit aromas, as blackberries are predominant. Also, a hint of spices is felt in the aroma and more intensely in the taste. Tannins are firm but smooth, well-integrated with oak. It has a refreshing acidity with very good balance. Medium to long finish. Food Matching: Chicken and other white meat cooked with seasoning, pork meat dishes and BBQ. Blue cheese is also a good match.
Occasions: Regular Gift, casual and formal parties. Good choice for natural or organic wine/food lover.

Naturally made in Alentejo Region.
Region with hot climate, Mediterranean, but hot temperatures, where the grapes like Alicante Bouschet famous in the region can achieve fully ripening giving structure and spices to the blend, where Touriga Nacional contributes with refreshing acidity, floral and black fruits aromas. It is a natural wine with organic grapes, so no enological synthetic products are added. It is aged in oak barrels for a short period to integrate and smooth the firm tannins existing in the blend.
The “Koppu” bottle, was inspired on Portuguese Traditional Tile (“Azulejo”) present in all the old architecture of Portugal. As a typical culture characteristic in our country, it’s possible to find it in all historic areas and modern as well. The brand name was created thinking on the history of the word “Koppu”, one of Portuguese Keywords in Japanese Vocabulary, which resulted from the Portuguese entry in Japan between 1542 – 1543 years, making the proximity between Portuguese and Japanese culture.
