Tasting Notes: Light body. Delicate white floral aromas, citric fruits aromas (lemon and lime zest) and a hint of tropical fruits like lychee and pineapple. Flavours of citric fruits are predominant in the mouth, with refreshing, lively high acidity, well balanced and medium finish.

Food Matching: Seafood such as raw oysters and raw or slightly cooked shrimps, raw vegetables such as salad, raw fish such as sashimi, sushi and carpaccio, simple grilled fish with salt, spicy seasoning such as wasabi and chili pepper.

Occasions: Regular Gift, casual and formal parties. Harmonious wine to drink day to day.

The Vinho Verde region is diverse and versatile in wine styles and profiles, known for producing not only light and fresh wines, but also complex, structured, and mineral wines. Exclusively produced with high quality grapes, achieving the category of “Superior” it only uses indigenous grape varieties of the region, preserving the typicity of aromas and flavours of this unique wine.

The “Koppu” bottle, was inspired on Portuguese Traditional Tile (“Azulejo”) present in all the old architecture of Portugal. As a typical culture characteristic in our country, it’s possible to find it in all historic areas and modern as well. The brand name was created thinking on the history of the word “Koppu”, one of Portuguese Keywords in Japanese Vocabulary, which resulted from the Portuguese entry in Japan between 1542 – 1543 years, making the proximity between Portuguese and Japanese culture.
